Welcome

This spectacular course lies in the heavily forested foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It's fairways meander over rolling hills and through tall spruce trees. Both scenic and challenging, course yardage ranges from 5433 yards (red) to 6729 yards (blue).

In 2003 the course played host to the Clarica Alberta Men's Amateur Championship and provides an enjoyable and challenging round to any caliber of player.

The club was formed in 1962, opening with nine holes, and expanding to eighteen holes in 1993. The course has been under-going some very positive changes throughout the 2008 season including moving their pro shop and clubhouse facilities to a new, centralized site and a course re-routing to a nine-in, nine-out layout. Two of the new tee complexes are in play already and the 2009 season will see the opening of two new par three holes, another new tee complex and a new driving range. To compliment the golf course improvements the club will break ground on a new clubhouse in the summer of 2009. Despite the on-going improvements, the club is still open on all 18 holes with reduced rates and  one temporary green and tee box.

The Hinton Golf Club is a course on the move and is worth the drive no matter where you live.
