WE ARE HIRING A Golf Course Superintendent
RUN YOUR COURSE. LIVE IN THE ROCKIES. Hinton Golf Club | Hinton, Alberta
Your course. Your team. Your opportunity.
Some career moves are about more than the job.
Hinton Golf Club is searching for our next Golf Course Superintendent, and we’re looking for someone who wants the opportunity to lead, build, improve — and enjoy an incredible place to call home while doing it.
Located in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, Hinton offers something increasingly difficult to find: a rewarding career, a welcoming community, room to breathe, and world-class outdoor recreation right outside your door.
We welcome applications from experienced Golf Course Superintendents as well as exceptional Assistant Superintendents who are ready to take the next step and lead a course of their own.
Maybe it’s time to trade traffic for mountains.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This isn’t simply a position to maintain what already exists.
We’re looking for a turf professional who wants to take ownership of the course and help shape its future.
As Golf Course Superintendent, you’ll lead Hinton Golf Club’s turf operation and work directly with the General Manager to establish course-conditioning standards, develop the turf team, manage resources and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
We want someone who brings knowledge and experience — but we also want ideas.
Someone who walks the course and sees possibilities.
Someone who takes pride in the details golfers notice and the hundreds of things they never see.
Someone who wants to build a great team, create excellent playing conditions and leave their mark on a golf course.
READY TO RUN YOUR OWN COURSE?
Maybe you’re already a Superintendent and looking for a change.
Or maybe you’ve spent years as an Assistant Superintendent developing your skills, managing crews, solving turf problems, operating irrigation systems and learning what it takes to run a successful golf course.
You’ve put in the seasons.
Now you’re wondering when you’ll get the opportunity to lead.
This could be it.
We’re interested in meeting experienced Superintendents — but we’re equally interested in meeting talented Assistant Superintendents who have the experience, leadership and ambition to take that next step.
If you’ve been waiting for someone to give you the opportunity to run your own course, we’d like to have a conversation.
ABOUT HINTON GOLF CLUB
Hinton Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course located in Hinton, Alberta, surrounded by the natural beauty of Alberta’s foothills.
